Background
In 2008, CN Group relaunched its highly successful CN Group Business Awards.
Originally launched in the 1990s, they were designed to recognise the excellence of companies and individuals that form the backbone of future growth in our county.
The prestigious ceremony attracted many top name guest speakers, including former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Leader of the Opposition John Smith and former head of Granada TV Charles Allan.
After a short break, the awards returned in 2008 bigger and stronger than ever before.
